Post processing technology is the focus

Bluetec is an advanced post processing technology. According to the statistics of the US environmental protection department, diesel engine uses bluetec to reduce the emission of particles by 98% and reduce the emission of harmful gas by 80%.

In recent years, China's internal combustion engine manufacturing enterprises have made little progress, but in the development of engine products, there is a big gap with foreign countries, and the post processing industry has just started.

China's huge market attracts world-renowned internal combustion engine research institutes to enter China. After AVL and FEV, the Southwest Institute of the United States, the British lotus, Czech AI Kodak, Australia Australia Beto, and Austria Eli have also recently entered the Chinese market. For example, the German BASF has established a wholly owned subsidiary in Shanghai, and the four Cummins engine of the Beijing bus assembly is the SCR (Selective Reduction Catalysis) provided by BASF.

"These companies cooperate with Chinese enterprises in developing new products, and recommend the selection, matching and purchasing of post-processing equipment. If China does not develop its own emissions reprocessing manufacturing industry, it is likely to become the market for foreign sales of emissions reprocessing products to maximize profits. "At present, the European Post emissions processing industry has an output value of about 80 billion yuan. According to China's car ownership, after the implementation of the four national standards, the post-treatment industry will have a market share of hundreds of billions of dollars. Domestic enterprises are also developing diesel engine aftertreatment products, these enterprises are mainly some of the original gasoline engine aftertreatment system suppliers. It is understood that at present, several key enterprises of diesel engine post processing system have been formed in China, including Wuxi Wei Fu Da catalytic purifier Co., Ltd., Sichuan self exhaust purification company and Kunming Guiyan catalyst company.

"We mainly produce tail gas reprocessing catalyst, which was put into research and development in 2005. At present, we are cooperating with many domestic diesel engine manufacturers." Chen Qizhang, general manager of Sichuan self purification company, said. "There are not many enterprises that can provide mature products in China, and there is a big gap between them."

Market selection SCR Technology

According to the introduction, at present, the international internal combustion engine industry has developed from Europe III to Euro IV, and there are two basic systems. In general, Europe tends to use the SCR (selective catalytic reduction) system to treat the nitrogen oxides in the tail gas by urea solution; the United States and Japan tend to EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) system, that is, the EGR (exhaust gas) that is treated by a particle trap or a particle catalytic converter (DPF) for the combustion of the particles produced by the combustion. Recirculation) technology. Because of different national conditions, enterprises in different countries have different inclination to choose technology.

According to the reporter, in the technical line, the domestic mainstream diesel engine production enterprises have basically reached a consensus, SCR will be the main technical direction of diesel engine emission upgrading in the future. At present, Cummings, Weichai, Yuchai and so on all adopt the SCR technology.

Analysts attribute the reasons why SCR systems are more suitable for the Chinese market to the following aspects: First, SCR systems can effectively save fuel consumption. The fuel consumption of SCR system is slightly lower than that of EGR + DPF system, and the consumption of urea solution can be compensated in fuel consumption. Second, if this technology is adopted now, it will be able to meet the requirements of emission regulations for a long time, until the introduction of Euro V and even higher emission standards. Third, in the e + + D - F system, the volume of the cooler needs to be increased. The SCR system needs only one additional storage tank, which has little impact on the design of the vehicle cab. Fourth, the complexity of the engine is low. The SCR system can meet the three and four national standards at the same time, and can be introduced in some areas in advance.

In the face of the coming four emission standards, domestic enterprises are already prepared. The advantage of Yuchai's first hair is the formation of the market. Because the SCR post-processing system market is relatively concentrated, basically in the city bus, and Yuchai customers just concentrated in the field of bus. As early as 2006, Yulai introduced China's first four diesel engine with independent intellectual property rights, which was 5 years ahead of the national compulsory four emission standard.
